South America by population and religion

The map above shows the population of each country in South America. Brazil is the largest country in the region, followed by Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Venezuela. According to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, the largest religious groups are Christians, agnostics, and spiritists. Within Christianity, Catholics are the largest group, followed by Protestants and Independents.
